By accessing or using OurFamilyHub ("the Service") operated by OurFamilyHub ("we," "us," or "our") at ourfamilyhub.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OurFamilyHub is a family organization platform that provides calendar management, chore tracking, grocery lists, meal planning, messaging, and screen time management features. The Service is designed to help families coordinate their daily activities and stay connected.

3. User Accounts

To use OurFamilyHub, you must create an account and set up a family group. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring that all family members added to your account have appropriate consent
  • Supervising children's use of the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create a family account. Children under 18 may use the Service only under the supervision of a parent or guardian who has created the family account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account credentials with anyone outside your family
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Upload malicious content or code
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. Subscriptions and Payments

OurFamilyHub offers both free and premium subscription plans. For premium subscriptions:

  • Payments are processed securely through our payment provider
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to OurFamilyHub, including events, photos, messages, and other family data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by OurFamilyHub and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.

8. Privacy

9. Service Availability

We are not responsible for decisions made based on information in the Service, such as calendar events, reminders, or chore assignments. You are responsible for verifying important information independently.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OURFAMILYHUB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
